Facilities that greatly benefit from our specialized cleaning services:

  • Large or Small-Scale Data Centre's, Computer Rooms, Server Rooms, and Data Rooms
  • Network Rooms, Telecom Rooms, Hub Rooms, Wiring Closets, and Network Closets
  • Colocation Data Centre's, Shared and High Security Server Rooms
  • Network Control Centre's, Call Centre's, ISPs, Web Hosting, and Data Processing
  • Electrical Rooms, UPS Rooms, and Any Other Power Related Rooms
  • Any Critically Sensitive and Technology Related Environments

Our service technicians have the knowledge, experience and expertise to properly and safely clean any sensitive and technical environments, and have gone through extensive background checks for high security clearance. General cleaners do not have the expertise to safely clean data centre environments according to standards and can cause downtime, and they do not have the correct equipment to properly clean these technical sensitive environments, and they are not fully insured to properly protect the valuable equipment in the data centre. CleanTech Services maintains all these crucial requirements to properly and safely clean all types of technical facilities.

The true lifeline of any controlled data centre is the under floor plenum. This plenum delivers cool air to your sensitive equipment. Unfortunately, the plenum is also the area most prone to dirt and dust. If allowed to accumulate, these contaminants can travel to your equipment by the circulating air. The impact of contaminated airflow includes clogged circuitry, clogged fans, faulty tapes, increased risk of fire, accidental fire suppressant discharge, and can lead to employee health problems. Equipment manufacturers are requiring data centre's to be cleaned by Data Centre Cleaning Professionals – as unseen particles can cause equipment malfunctions and warranty issues.

CleanTech Services provides specialized cleaning services to remove harmful contamination such as dust, debris and static buildup in your sub floor environments. Whether you use your sub floor for cabling, cooling and/or static dissipation – CleanTech specializes in cleaning sub floor plenums without worry of downtime.

Air-cooled network, server and data storage equipment require clean air at microscopic levels that common janitors cannot achieve. Our service technicians have the knowledge, experience and expertise to clean your sub floors according to the code requirements for data centre environments (100,000 @ 0.5um).

Data centre surface floors are designed to dissipate static electricity by providing a conductive path to ground. Dirt on top of and ground into surface flooring greatly reduces the floor's ability to dissipate static. Improper cleaning can also cause your floor to peel or chip.

CleanTech uses specialized environmentally friendly cleaning solutions that safely remove dust and dirt from all types of tiles. This service includes vacuuming and damp mopping the floor surface with cleaning solutions approved for use in data centre environments.

It is necessary to ensure when cleaning the data centre environment that the proper equipment and cleaning solutions will be utilized to ensure that contamination is captured and removed, and not reintroduced back into the environment. Control over contaminant levels in a data centre is an extremely important consideration when evaluating an environment. The impact of contamination on sensitive electronic hardware is well recognized, but the most harmful contaminants are often overlooked because they are so small. Most particles smaller than 10 microns are not visible to the naked eye under most conditions; yet, it is these particles that are most likely to migrate to areas where they can do damage.

CleanTech vacuums employ a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter at a 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 microns that will remove the critical 0.5 micron dust particulates that are harmful to data centre equipment. All of our attachments and tools are non-conductive to prevent static buildup, our supplies like microfiber wiping cloths are made of a low lint material designed to safely clean data centre equipment, and our cleaning solutions are non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and rated safe for use in data centre environments.

The buildup of dust and other contaminants at the ceiling area of data centres, computer rooms, or any other technical environment can cause equipment failures by circulating into the facilities air system. Ceiling tiles are generally made of fiber glass and over time, loose fiber glass particles will eventually dislodge.

Dust, fiber glass, and other particle contaminants that are hazardous to the IT staff and facility equipment will accumulate onto cable ladders, raceways, drop lights, pipes, vents, wiring, and other ceiling areas. The periodic work performed by IT staff and contractors in removing or installing electrical or technical wiring and equipment will cause these contaminates to become air borne and travel throughout the facility. This can lead to IT staff feeling uncomfortable or experiencing breathing difficulties when inhaling these contaminants. The particle contaminants can also cause equipment failures by travelling into the equipment power supplies, or accumulate onto the equipment circuitry and vents, causing improper equipment cooling, and the potential to cause the equipment to overheat.

CleanTech Services can professionally clean and decontaminate the ceiling area of your technical facility, using our HEPA filter approved vacuum cleaners, and our anti-static and environmentally friendly cleaning solutions. Depending on your preferred preference of service and the level of contamination in your facility, our highly trained staff can decontaminate your facility by either vacuuming, or vacuuming and wiping clean all accessible ceiling areas.

Please contact us today to discuss an affordable level of service that fulfills the cleaning requirements for your facility.
